Course Details
This course provides a cardiopulmonary perspective on managing patients who have survived COVID-19 in the outpatient and home health settings. In this course, participants will review the pathophysiology of COVID-19 and how it affects the cardiopulmonary system. Participants will learn how to identify and treat key functional impairments unique to COVID-19 survivors.

Learning Objectives:
- Appreciate the pathophysiology of COVID-19.
- Appreciate how medical management of COVID-19 can impart changes to the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems.
- Identify signs and symptoms of possible COVID-19 infection during clinical examination.
- Discuss basic cardiovascular and pulmonary examination principles, and how to structure an exam.
- Determine the best type of cardiovascular and pulmonary treatment based on patient presentation.

For practice physical and occupational therapists. In order to earn category A (live) credit, CEU attendees must attend the course at the time of the webinar. There is a 10 question quiz that they must earn at least 70% in order to earn a course certificate. The quiz must be completed within 7 days of the course. Once the quiz and course evaluation is completed, they will be issued a course cert.
